What you need to buy
- A CRU DX115 chassis (p/n 6607-7100-0500), available at Amazon and CDW
- A suitably sized hard drive. I recommend a SSD.
250Mbit/sec is the maximum for the DCI spec. The table allows 2Mbit/sec for the audio channels.
- A shipping box with padding. The cardboard box that the CRU DX115 chassis comes in is unsuitable for shipping a completed DCP.
The "professional" case to get is a Pelican 1300 or Pelican 1400,
but an appropriately sized cardboard box, an anti-static bag, and some bubble wrap will do just fine.
